煮婦生活


時間過得好快,我已經來了倫敦四個月,除了頭一個月因未有安定生活之外,其後三個月斷斷續續已經煮過好多餐飯,基本上都可以稱為一個「家庭煮婦」。作為家庭煮婦並不是我的理想工作,但現在發現原來都好有挑戰性同滿足感,由冇到有、由生到熟、由冇味到好味、由唔似樣到真嘅一樣,過程中都係不停學習及改良,加埋最後比人稱讚好美味仲食到一件都冇剩,嗰種快感真係好正,幾多油煙味、蒜頭味都抵番。

今次我特登揀了九款好喜愛的作品登出來,煎炒煮炸蒸炆燉浸焗燒樣樣有,其中燒肉同熏蹄比我最大滿足感,以前想起燒味只會考慮去邊間買,從未想過自己可以整;另外梅菜扣肉同酥皮湯都係新嘗試,照住做又真係做到。嚟緊我會挑戰醉雞、葡撻及菜肉包,希望一樣成功。

什麼推動我努力去煮呢?其實除了出街食太貴之外,好多時就算到中國餐廰食都未必好味,選擇又唔多,中國人始終最重視就係晚餐,食凍三文治又唔係,食炸魚又唔想,所以都係自己煮算吧。諗番在香港的日子真係好幸福,食物國際化兼多樣化,價錢相宜味道一流,仲有媽媽煮的愛心晚餐,實在太感動,原來晚晚唔駛煮都有得食唔係必然架!

Yes! You're right, it is not a must for us to have warm, loving and prepared dinner. Because I seldom have it since my mom died.

So, I admire Ka Yiu much!!!!!
